Client: DONDE JOSÉ

Creative Direction and Editorial Design Year: 2020

Donde José is a high-level restaurant in Panama with a tasting menu whose dishes serve as an excuse to talk about the culture and the way of being Panamanians. The menu constantly changes, so we decided to make a book that would communicate about the brand, Panama, and Panamanians. The menu would be a bookmarker that goes inside the book.

The design concept embodies the restaurant's character: authentic, unique, and risky, 100% Panamanian. The book recounts in its collages, illustrations, and texts the cultural diversity and the particular way of being on this small isthmus.

This project was selected at the 2020 Madrid Design Biennial.
